Back by popular demand.  This is a repeat presentation from Gardening Saturday. The workshop was sold out very quickly and many people did not get the opportunity to participate.

Join Mick Manfield as he reviews the 5 basic hobby greenhouse styles and discuss factors involved in heating, lighting, ventilation, and shelving. Take the opportunity at the end of the presentation to ask questions and discuss what has worked well and what has not with Mick’s own greenhouse.

Mick is a Master Gardener who lives in Lockport, Manitoba. Mick learned to garden in England alongside his Dad and Granddad who both owned glass greenhouses. Mick has built and owned a hobby greenhouse since he emigrated to Canada and uses it to grow starter plants, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and strawberries. Mick completed his Square Foot Gardening Teacher Certification in October 2011 in Austin, Texas and completed his Master Gardener and Master Composter in 2012. Mick is passionate about gardening and learning new gardening techniques.
